knots at beginning stage of career

Well, i feel in everyone's life there will be some initial problems at their beginning of career . So in those life's my life is one among of them. But i did not really don't know that i would face some troubles because i don't know exactly that i had beginning stage of career. My final step after studying b.e is  to write the exams like GRE and TOEFL and fly back to abroad for higher studies. But in these exams which i mentioned above, i think i did not perform upto the mark. For getting good score in GRE initially i joined in a institution for GRE coaching. But to be frank, the days which i attended for GRE coaching is very less. I can calculate those days within fingers. So, this preparation ultimately affects my GRE score. Really i hit the GRE score to ground level, not at all a good one. Then i thought i could somehow manage with this score for getting admissions in abroad. Next target is TOEFL, for getting better in toefl initially i joined in an institution. But it's of no use because again my Toefl score hits down. So, my consultancy sir ask me to re-take the TOEFL exam. I ask why...? He answered that i will not able to get even a single university with those scores. Then i asked why so..? he said " you will get admission surely with these scores but along with engineering courses you need to take some englisg course by paying some extra fee" After hearing that, i shocked for sometime. Then i realized that i should take TOEFL again. Then within one week of time, i booked the slot for TOEFL exam. I wrote that exam along with my ECE friend and i made atlast some reasonable good score in TOEFL. I reported these scores to my consultancy, then he just replied with one sentence " Ya, man!!! you will get admit sure atleast for one university." After hearing that. i felt happy. But let's see whether his words are correct. If not then i will smash him.
